Dorset’s very own Curry Queen spiced up proceedings when she officially opened a holiday cottage company’s new office in Swanage.

Entrepreneur Sarah Ali Choudhury welcomed Dream Cottages to the resort before cutting the red ribbon at its new office at 8 The Square.

Guests included Swanage Mayor, Cllr Mike Bonfield, while Andrew Fleming, Swanage Town Crier, acted as Master of Ceremonies.

The office was due to open before Christmas but – as reported on Dorset Biz News – the company generously offered the space to next door neighbours, the RNLI, while their premises had essential works carried out.

The office is the third in Dorset for Dream Cottages – but the first in the east of the county.

It will be available for new owner walk-ins and appointments along with guests wishing to enquire more about holidays in Dorset.

Dream Cottages has more than 350 properties in Dorset and Devon.

Joy Sangster, Managing Director, said: “We’re so excited to be launching our third office in such a beautiful location.

“We had a fantastic 2019 taking over 35,000 guests on holiday to Dorset, and 5,180 dogs.

“We look forward to meeting as many people as possible in the town and surrounding villages soon.”

From Monday February 17 to Friday February 21 the office will be open from 9am-5.30pm for drop-ins and appointments for free holiday letting advice and guidance.

It will then open Mondays and Fridays following the launch week.

Opening hours in peak season will be Friday to Monday.

Dream Cottages is offering an introductory offer of £500 cash for new owners who sign up their property with the company.

The limited cash offer will be issued once the property goes live and must be before April 30, 2020. Terms and conditions apply.
