easyStorage has arrived.

The no-frills mobile storage company, part of the easy family of brands founded by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, has welcomed its first franchisees based in Dorset

Spencer Bowley, Anita Bowley and Connor Budny will offer easyStorage in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Somerset.

The service is available to the public and commercial businesses alike.

It promises affordable self-storage and claims to be up to half the price of traditional set-ups.

Unlike traditional self-storage, easyStorage brings easyPods to customers’ doors, where they are loaded and transported to an easyStorage secure facility.

By using easyPods, they can be stacked high and deep for maximum efficiency, without wasting valuable real estate.

With better space utilisation, easyStorage says it is able to store more in each depot and pass the savings it makes on to its customers.

Spencer and Anita have run other local businesses in the area while Spencer’s son, Connor, is a marketing graduate setting out on his first business venture.

The storage facility will initially operate out of Bournemouth but the team plan to have multiple storage locations across the territory as the team and storage business grow.

The family has named the easyStorage van with its distinctive orange colour ‘Susie’ after their first customer.

Nigel Dawson, Franchise Director and Co-Founder at easyStorage, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Spencer, Anita and Connor to our franchise offering in the UK and welcome them to the easyStorage team.

“They will be providing their customers in the South of England with affordable mobile storage from their base in Dorset and their ambition and drive is well-suited to the easyStorage brand.

“Our comprehensive training and investment in smart technology means they can really hit the ground running and we look forward to the launch of their business franchise.”

Spencer said: “As multi-business owners we are really excited to start this new venture with a product, brand and USP we really believe in.

“We heard about the opportunity through a business network we regularly meet with and it was too good not to pursue.

“It will be the first time my son, Connor, is part of the business and he has hit the ground running.

“We are a strong family business with the attention to detail and drive needed to make everything we do as successful as we can, and our new easyStorage venture will be no exception.”

The franchise has been designed to be a relatively low cost of entry, with no need for franchisees to have their own warehouse initially, as easyStorage provides the storage facilities.

It means that Spencer, Anita and Connor were able to start right away but they plan to own their own storage facility from year two of trading.

In 2017, entrepreneur Tim Slesinger partnered with Sir Stelios and his easyGroup to add easyStorage to the portfolio of brands.

Tim, alongside Co-Founders Nigel Dawson and Halim Boumadani, started easyStorage with a pilot storage facility in Hanger Lane, North West London.

Following rapid growth and creating numerous employment opportunities, easyStorage now has 25 sites around the UK.
