An award-winning cheese and wine bar is coming to Poole Old Town.

Acting on behalf of private clients, Goadsby Commercial has completed the letting of 30 High Street, Poole, to the fast expanding Renoufs group.

The prominently located restaurant – formerly occupied by Pizza Express – is arranged over three-storeys and covers approximately 210 sq m.

It includes a spacious rear courtyard providing outside seating.

Conversion of the Grade II listed building into a Renoufs Cheese and Wine Bar is now underway.

It will be Renoufs’ ninth location.

“The first Renoufs commenced trading in Westbourne in 2015 and was sold by Goadsby and we were also involved in the Lyndhurst and Christchurch venues.

“I am delighted to have had the opportunity to work with Renoufs once again and I have no doubt that this new unit will only add to the success of the hugely successful group.”

Renoufs uncorked its first bottle of wine in the heart of Westbourne in 2015.

Westbourne has now been joined by wine bars in Wimborne, Southbourne, Lyndhurst, Verwood and Canford Cliffs as well as pantry cheese shops in Westbourne and Christchurch.

The Renoufs announcement follows the decision by award-winning restaurateur Andy Lennox to open a second Nusara Thai at 40-42 High Street, Poole.

Also housed within a Grade 2 listed building, it welcomed its first guests on July 14.
