This time…Winspit, Chapman’s Pool or Corfe are her favourite places in Dorset; she’d like to share a car with Louis Theroux; gets angry at arrogant, rude people and says wasting time is her biggest frustration.

Nicole Cook, Head of Delivery, Salad, takes the 20 Questions’ hot seat.

Question: What is your favourite TV show?

A: There are too many to choose from! I loved ‘Breaking Bad’ and I’m obsessed with true crime documentaries, but I also spend a bit too much time watching trashy reality TV.

Q: Who would you like to share a car with?

A: Louis Theroux. He’d have some good stories to tell.

Q: The best bit of my job is…?

A: As cheesy as it sounds, it really is working with amazing, talented people and producing work that has purpose.

Q: And the worst?

A: A day full of meetings, whilst seeing my inbox fill up with unread emails.

Q: Who was your childhood hero?

A: I’m not sure I had one, but probably my sister. I thought she was the coolest person ever and wanted to do everything she did.

Q: What’s your favourite smell?

A: Vanilla.

Q: Where’s your favourite place in Dorset?

A: I love a good hike so Winspit, Chapman’s Pool or Corfe; they’re all amazing.

Q: What advice would you give to anyone starting out on a career?

A: You don’t have to know exactly what you want to do and stick to it. Take opportunities, experience things, meet new people, push yourself out of your comfort zone and be kind.

Q: What was your first record/CD?

A: I’m a 90’s baby so naturally it was a Britney Spears album.

Q: What gets you angry?

A: Arrogant, rude people.

Q: Do you have a favourite piece of music?

A: I have a very varied taste in music but I could listen to Queen every day.

Q: What are the qualities you look for in a new employee?

A: Honesty, kindness and passion.

Q: What’s your favourite food or dish?

A: Hmmm, potatoes may just be the best food ever; mash, chips, roast potatoes, hash browns… am I wrong?

Q: Steamed sponge pudding and custard or a plate of melon?

A: I think this is the easiest question! 100 per cent a steamed sponge pudding and custard.

Q: Name the best thing about living/working in Dorset?

A: A welcoming community, lots of events, and, of course, being close to the sea.

Q: If you were Prime Minister for the day what would be the first thing you do?

A: Try my best to fix a whole lot of mistakes. Focus on improving the lives of key workers and hire people who really know what it’s like to live a normal life.

Q: What’s your biggest frustration?

A: Wasting time.

Q:  Where’s your favourite holiday location?

A: This is tough. Last year I fell in love with Croatia and would love to go back. Although, I had the trip of a lifetime road-tripping from the East to West coast of America; that’s a tough one to beat.

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years’ time?

A: I don’t normally think that far ahead, but I hope I own a home, still love what I do and I’ve grown in confidence.

Q: What would you like to be remembered for?

A: Being a good friend; someone who is supportive, reliable, caring and fun.
