Keen to grow your company but facing difficulties in making it happen?

Silicon South, the not-for-profit organisation dedicated to accelerating the digital economy in Dorset, has free places available on its day-long 10th Degree.

It’s a mentoring lab for up to 20 companies with high-growth aspirations and/or looking to develop a new product or service in the digital, tech and creative sectors.

Managing Directors of SMEs are being offered the chance to sit down and discuss their plans, across the broad spectrum of business challenges they face.

It will be in the company of ten experts with skills in a variety of disciplines including strategy, marketing, finance, legal, PR and operations.

The experts include:

  • Jen Swain, Head of Operations, 3 Sided Cube
  • Angela Piromalli, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Rise
  • Nikki Maidment, Digital Strategist, Digital Rocks
  • Lee Francis, International Sales Director, Patient Source
  • Shaun Guppy, Company & Commercial Solicitor, Steele Raymond
  • Clare Groombridge, Founder, South Coast Social
  • Andrew Walker, Founder, STATZY
  • Christopher Grubb, Founder & Finance Director, Inform Perform
  • Sunny Bird, Founder & Managing Director, Sunny Bird PR.

Helen Khan, Silicon South’s Senior Marketing Executive, said: “The day is focused on supporting innovation.

“We want to invite people running companies that are keen to grow, especially through the creation of new products and services, but are facing difficulties in making it happen.

“They should have a good idea of what’s hindering their progress and have a strong desire to speak to experts who can help them gain the clarity needed to drive their business to the next stage.”

The 10th Degree is on Thursday October 24, 8am to 5pm, at the Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth.

Spaces are limited with only 20 companies allowed to participate (two people per company may attend).

The event is fully funded by the European Regional Development Fund and would usually cost £500 per company.
