Incredibly proud.

The words of founder Simone Thomas after hearing that Simone Thomas Wellness has been shortlisted for a top award.

The business is through to the final of the Health & Wellbeing Entrepreneur of the Year category at the 2020 Great British Entrepreneur Awards for the South West region.

Founded in 2013, the awards recognise the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the UK.

In the past seven years they’ve celebrated a range of  outstanding entrepreneurs who went on to become household names.

Previous winners include the founders of BrewDog, Tangle Teezer, The LAD Bible, Clearscore & The Cambridge Satchel Company.

This year’s judges include Hayley Parsons, who founded Go Compare, Cath Kidston, Lord Bilimoria of Cobra Beer and Kanya King, the founder of the MOBO awards.

The results will be officially announced on Wednesday September 23 over an interactive online live stream.

Simone said: “This year has been tougher than most for independent businesses and entrepreneurs, which is why the acknowledgement of our contribution to the wellness industry is something I am incredibly proud of.

“No matter the outcome, my team and I would like to say a huge thank you to all our loyal customers and for all their incredible support over the years.

“It has been my goal from the very beginning to help clients reach optimum full body health and wellness, which is why this award means a lot to my team and I.”

After opening three successful UK based clinics, Simone established a reputation as a leading hair loss consultant, a qualified trichologist and a bio-energetics practitioner.

Her drive to help others was fuelled by her own health issues, with hair loss being one that took a toll on her mental and physical health and impacted her self-esteem.

Years of research and practising in her own clinics helped Simone to develop a deeper understanding of the importance of a nutrient dense diet when it comes to promoting a healthy mind and body.

This led her to formulate a full programme that works from within.

Simone said “To look good on the outside, things have got to be great within.”
