More than 200 people attended the annual gala dinner of the Bournemouth Property Association (BPA) and the South West region of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel.
The chosen charity was Julia’s House children’s hospice with Sue Miles, Business Fundraiser, highlighting the work of the charity and how little funding is received from the government.
Guest speaker was Clive Grant, MBE, an ex-special forces veteran. The evening finished with gaming tables, a magic mirror and a caricaturist.
Alexandra Eaton, BPA Chair, said: “It was a great evening and, as we’ve now been running it for so many years, we have the itinerary cast in stone.
“Clive was brilliant and the total amount raised on the night for Julia’s House was £2,500 and it is still rising due to pledges made. Many thanks to all who attended the evening and for giving so generously.”
