As Arts by the Sea draws to a close in Bournemouth this week, Festival Director Andrea Francis at BCP Council is looking back on another successful event.
This year was all about creating a moment while enjoying some of the many performances and installations on display throughout the festival.
And they certainly came in droves – particularly thanks to crowd favourite Portal, a 15-metre monolith on Bournemouth beach lined with an array of shifting, glowing lights.
Andrea said: “It was so wonderful to see the huge crowds who visited Arts by the Sea at the weekend, everyone engaging in such a diverse programme of activities and performances, creating their own special moments with friends and family.
“It’s such a privilege to bring this free festival to residents and visitors in Bournemouth.”
