Sherborne’s finest were honoured at the town’s annual business awards with organisers hailing a record number of entries.
Upwards of 60 local business leaders attended the lunchtime event at The Grange at Oborne.
After a chance to network, and a buffet lunch, the winners of the 14 categories and Overall Winner were revealed by the Mayor of Sherborne, Cllr Juliet Pentolfe.
This year’s Overall Winner was Girlings Complete Hearing with Dan Girling, pictured, collecting the framed certificate.
It was the third year of the awards. organised by Marketing West Events.

“We were also pleased to announce several new additions to the award.
“They included the Overall Winner now returning the following year to present the trophy to the next year’s winner.
“The Overall Winner also now wins a category sponsorship at the next awards with all the promotional value that gives their business.
“In addition, there will now be a winners and sponsors’ lunch, held shortly after the awards, to help the winners celebrate and meet their sponsors.”
