Redrow, a leading housebuilder, has opened a sales cabin at its new Royal Oaks development in Gillingham, offering potential homebuyers a closer look at its Eco Electric homes. As part of this launch, Redrow has committed £1.2 million to Dorset Council to enhance local services and infrastructure.
The funding, a part of Redrow’s s106 contributions, is earmarked for affordable housing, public open spaces, education, health, and transport infrastructure, aiming to benefit both Royal Oaks residents and the wider community.
Mark Vanson, Sales Director at Redrow Southern Counties, expressed enthusiasm about the new development: “We’re excited to welcome homebuyers to our brand-new sales cabin at Royal Oaks.
“Visitors can explore our energy-efficient homes and discover how they can live more sustainably while reducing their energy bills.”
Royal Oaks features 32 Eco Electric homes, all fitted with underfloor heating and air source heat pumps, offering a higher energy efficiency rating compared to the average UK home.
The development is part of Redrow’s Heritage Collection, with homes inspired by the Arts and Crafts style of the 1930s.
With strong transport links and a vibrant local community, Royal Oaks offers an attractive lifestyle for families and professionals alike.
The three-bedroom homes start at £390,000, and interested buyers are encouraged to visit the sales cabin or contact the sales team for more information.
