Members of the local community have come together at Parley Place in the village of West Parley to mark the care home’s first birthday.
Residents and staff were joined by friends, relatives and guests as they celebrated the milestone with drinks, street food and a firework display.
General Manager Gina Smith said: “It’s important to recognise the hard work of our staff here.
“For the past year, we’ve provided a caring home for our residents as well as the best possible environment for our staff.
“Today not only enables us to celebrate their hard work, but it’s also an opportunity to thank the residents, their relatives and friends who have made Parley Place care home such a loving home.”
Run by Barchester Healthcare, Parley Place regularly holds events and activities for its 68 residents and neighbours.
