Hendy Group has renewed its headline sponsorship of AFC Bournemouth for the 2024/25 season, marking the fifth consecutive year of this partnership.

The automotive dealer group, in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover, will once again support a range of public-facing initiatives by the Cherries, including the popular ‘Moment of the Match’ series across the club’s social media channels.

As part of the deal, Hendy Group will also provide transport for AFC Bournemouth’s media team to all away matches during the season. This ongoing sponsorship aligns with the Group’s strategy to strengthen ties with local communities.

Andy Grant, Head of Brand Performance for Jaguar Land Rover at Hendy Group, highlighted the significance of the partnership: “Supporting a major football club like AFC Bournemouth, which shares our commitment to the local community, is key to our strategy. We are proud to continue this partnership and look forward to engaging with more Cherries fans throughout the season.”

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at AFC Bournemouth, expressed enthusiasm about the renewed collaboration: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Hendy Group. Our long-standing relationship has been mutually beneficial, and we are excited to work together in the upcoming season.”

Hendy Group, celebrating its 165th anniversary in 2024, represents 24 manufacturers across 80 sites along the South Coast of England, including a significant presence in the Bournemouth area.

The family-run business, established in 1859, continues to provide a premium experience to its customers, offering a wide range of services from new and used vehicle sales to fleet management and MOT testing.
