Christchurch Business Improvement District (BID) has secured the talents of Dorset’s own Hot Radio to provide music and live entertainment for its Food Fest Local this May.
The festival will see Christchurch high street lined with a diverse range of traders offering artisan foods, locally crafted spirits, fine wine and traditional fare.
Visitors can expect to enjoy rich flavours from hospitality businesses and producers across the South Coast.
The BID’s own event will run alongside the annual Christchurch Food Festival at the town’s quay, adding live cooking demonstrations, hands-on culinary workshops and food markets to the mix.
Louise Berkhauer, operations manager at Christchurch BID and event organiser, said: “We’re excited to partner with the team at Hot Radio this year, as they’ll be providing publicity and entertainment at the event over the May bank holiday weekend.
“We’ll again see Christchurch high street come alive with thousands of people perusing the stalls, enjoying the food and wandering between the two food-focused events in town.”
Alan Smith, commercial director at Hot Radio, added: “The team at Hot are really excited about partnering with this great local event in Christchurch.
“We look forward to providing great music and supporting this community event in our own unique way – who wouldn’t want to be involved with all this lovely food!
“Christchurch town centre and the quay will be buzzing with activity and excitement for what is set to be an amazing experience for food lovers and families alike.”
Christchurch Food Fest Local runs from Saturday 24 to Sunday 25 May 2025.
