The business, which takes its name from the word ‘portfolio’, is offering photography, branding and content creation services.
Beth is also providing technology lessons for seniors.
The 22-year-old, who lives in Dorchester, said: “I recently graduated – although didn’t actually graduate unfortunately due to Covid-19 – from Falmouth University with a First Class Honours in Press and Editorial Photography.
“I’ve been working in healthcare and have done for the past six years in between my studies.
“My main audience is small local business. I want to help them build.
“I have a Level 2 qualification in ‘Principles of Business Administration’ and ‘The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing’ by The Bureau of Europe and The Open University – highly recommended – to build my knowledge.
“I’ve struggled to find employment since finishing university.
“Folio has given me motivation, positivity and determination again.
“I can use the skills I have learnt throughout education.”
Beth, who continues to work in healthcare, recently had a double-page spread in ’The Parkinson’ (Parkinson’s UK magazine) showcasing a documentary series on a lady diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
She is participating in a sky dive to raise money for the charity.
Beth said: “I offer a free consultation, flexibility – from one hour a month to 100 if required – and a dedicated and all-in-one service.
“I could not be more ready for my new venture!”
