Industry veteran Max joins to drive Norco’s CNC development & additive manufacturing efforts

Poole manufacturer has appointed Max Osmond to oversee additive manufacturing and CNC development.

Norco logoMax brings to Norco an extensive background in computer numerical control (CNC) kitting, additive manufacturing and 3D printing, having served as director of MSA Manufacturing for over 27 years.

Based in Ferndown, MSA Manufacturing specialised in the machining, cutting and kitting of composite cores, fabric reinforcements and sheet materials.

Under Max’s leadership, the firm became a key supplier in the UK market before ceasing trading last year.

His arrival at Norco comes as the Poole business continues to expands its footprint in the additive manufacturing sector.

Max will take responsibility for developing large-format 3D printing, supporting the integration of CNC operations with additive manufacturing, and pre-empting operational challenges.

In the long term, he’ll look to foster internal development, support team growth and ensure that Norco’s manufacturing processes remain at the forefront of technology.

“I’m excited to join Norco at such an exciting phase in its journey,” said Max.

“The company’s early adoption of large-format 3D printing positions it as a pioneer in the UK market.

“I look forward to contributing my expertise to help Norco solidify its leadership in this space and drive meaningful innovation.”
