North Dorset MP Simon Hoare has officially opened a new development which will bring 162 new homes to Shaftesbury.
He was invited to David Wilson Homes’ Niveus Walk, in Wincombe Lane, to cut the ceremonial ribbon as well as take a first look at the new homes on offer.
The MP was given a tour of the site alongside Sales Director Tammy Bishop.

Mr Hoare praised the construction team’s work and commended the build so far.
He said: “It’s great to see these new homes being developed to help meet the mix of housing needs of North Dorset.
“It has been an honour to officially open Niveus Walk ready for potential buyers.

“I’m looking forward to seeing things progress in the coming weeks and months.”
Tammy, who is the Sales Director for David Wilson Homes, Southampton Division, said: “We were delighted to welcome Mr Hoare to cut the official ribbon here at Niveus Walk.
“We’re thrilled that he’s given the site his seal of approval.
