A fourth – and final – night of a club quiz streamed live from the lounge of the co-founder of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee pushed the total raised for NHS Charities Together to a magnificent £10,045.
The total is ten times the amount the brand set out to raise when the quiz, shown live on the company’s YouTube channel, was launched.
In addition, Jimmy’s has donated 76,548 cartons of Iced Coffee to NHS frontline and care workers throughout England.
It is also continuing with its pledge to further donate ten per cent from all sales made via its online store to the NHS.
Since re-opening the web shop during the pandemic lockdown, two crew members have continued to dedicate their time to packing deliveries for customers.
Sales have continued to soar with the brand’s total donation amount expected to reach far beyond the £10,000 target.
The virtual quiz brought teams together from their homes across the UK and further afield.
They made a minimum donation of £5 to take part in five rounds of weird and wonderful questions.
Jim Cregan, Co-Founder of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, did a stellar job of entertaining the audience with his wife, Sophie, co-hosting.
He said: “We ain’t no Tom Moore, but we’ve fought our way through four gruelling quizzes over eight weeks and we’re so stoked to have raised £10k for the NHS charities.
“I didn’t think we were going to make it but it was super exciting to get it over the line by the last round.
“Happy days and a huge thanks to all who took part and donated.
