Two key members of the team at a Bournemouth accountancy firm have been promoted to new positions.

Sam Brett becomes Audit Team Leader and Collette Parry is appointed Personal Tax Team Leader at Saffery Champness.

Sam, a former student at Poole Grammar School, joined the accountancy firm in 2013 as an Audit Senior.

He has held a number of positions including Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager and, now, Audit Team Leader.

Collette, who is a former student at Parkstone Grammar School, joined Saffery Champness in 2016 as Assistant Manager, Personal Tax.

She was subsequently promoted to Tax Manager, Senior Manager and, now, Personal Tax Team Leader.

Roger Wareham, Partner and Head of Office, said: “It is great to be supporting our continued growth by promoting our staff who will be taking on new responsibilities within their respective teams.

“Sam will be leading the continued growth and development of the audit team, and Collette will be helping to lead the strategy on upcoming changes that will need to be implemented as part of ‘Making Tax Digital’.”

Roger was himself promoted, to the role of Head of Office, in April, taking over from Senior Partner Nick Fernyhough.

The 42-year-old joined Saffery Champness as a Supervisor in 2003 before being promoted to Senior Manager in 2008 and then Partner five years later.
