Join in the Great Dorset (Jubilee) Tea Party!

Who doesn’t love a delicious cake, gooey brownie and dainty cucumber sandwiches, all washed down with a cup of tea, whilst raising money for your local charity hospice?

We would love it if you would consider hosting your own tea party at home to raise money for our incredible charity hospice, so we can continue to deliver vital services for people in our community with life-limiting illnesses.

Taking part is simple, just email fundraisingteam@lewis-manning.org.uk and we will send you your very own Great Dorset Tea Party pack, filled with a poster, DIY bunting, quiz and sweepstake games!

This month we spoke to Corporate Partnerships Manager, Kristin Lee Warren.

What’s the best thing about your job?

Knowing that I am helping to make a difference to someone’s life at a crucial time. I also love meeting new people, building relationships and having the opportunity to use my creative side.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?

This is a quote, but one I used to tell my students.

“Self-confidence is a super power, once you start to believe in yourself magic starts to happen!”

Tell us something about yourself that we wouldn’t know

I once danced at the London Palladium .

Describe yourself in 3 words

Creative, outgoing, passionate.

If you were going to rule the world for the day, what law would you introduce?

I would make everyone wear glitter or sequins to work. We need more sparkle in our lives!

Your best place for a holiday is? 

My favourite holiday was Sri Lanka.

Our aim is to help as many local people as possible, who are dealing with a life limiting illness, to live their precious lives well.
