Lawyers from Coles Miller will be joining hundreds of charity fundraisers in support of men’s health projects across Dorset this weekend.

Coles Miller staff will be running and marshalling at the March For Men charity event.

It starts at 10am on Saturday, March 25, at Bournemouth Pier Approach.

People participating in March For Men can choose to run or walk 5k and 10k.

Participants of all ages, abilities and genders will raise funds for University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity which helps people needing the Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals.

Coles Miller Managing Partners Adrian Cormack, pictured left, and Neil Andrews will be joined by Partner Chris Whittle and Marketing Director Nick Balchin.

Marshals will include Coles Miller Partner Lydia Barnett, Serious Injury Paralegal Crispin Cormack and Paralegal Geneé Clarke.

Lydia said: “In the Personal Injury Department, we see many clients who sadly suffer from men’s health conditions.

“These include urological conditions such as prostate cancer and long-term bladder and kidney damage.

“These conditions are often debilitating and have a considerable impact on life expectancy and day-to-day quality of life.

“It’s therefore very important to us that we support our local hospitals so they can continue to provide excellent care and support to all patients who suffer from these conditions.

“We wish all the runners and walkers the best of luck on the day.”

March For Men has so far raised more than £150,000 for men’s health projects at the hospitals in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.

Kevin Turner, Consultant Urological Surgeon, said: “With every step our supporters take along the seafront next Saturday, we can continue to improve health services for every man in our community.

“This event helps us to do so much more for our patients.

“We can purchase state-of-the-art equipment to streamline diagnosis and improve treatment, for example our blue light camera system which improves bladder cancer treatment.”

March for Men is going into its ninth year and will be sponsored by Oak Services.
