A historic inn which reopened under new management last autumn is launching its new wedding space with a free reception for one lucky couple.
The Silent Woman Inn in the heart of Wareham Forest is collaborating with Coastal Tents and other local wedding suppliers in the venture.
To celebrate the launch it’s giving one couple a chance to celebrate their wedding for free at the newly named Wareham Forest Weddings & Events space.
The pub, which was relaunched last September, says it is providing a wedding venue with a difference.

Collaborator Coastal Tents is showcasing two giant tipis, made out of solid wooden poles grown in the cold forests of Sweden, with a light tan-coloured canvas.
The company is the only provider of official Tentipi Tipis – described as the original and best – based in Dorset.
Dates for the Wareham Forest Weddings and Events space are available throughout this year and 2022.
Rob Barr, Operations Director, said the location was the perfect space for couples whose plans may have been disrupted due to Covid-19.
He added: “With Covid 19 impacting so many aspects of our lives, we have worked hard to provide a covid secure wedding and events venue along with a robust process if couples do need to change dates.
“We can offer flexibility.”

To celebrate the launch of the venue, one lucky couple will win a wedding reception for up to 30 guests on Saturday June 5, 2021.

Entries are open until April 18.
The names of the lucky couple will be announced on April 19.

Bookings for 2021 and 2022 are now open.
The venue will be holding an open day on Sunday June 6 to showcase the space along with local wedding and events suppliers.
