This time…Her biggest frustration is negativity, she rates her team as the best bit of her job, thinks her first record/CD was something by Jason Donovan or Bros and sees herself as happy and wandering around Europe in her spare time in 2033.

Lucy Culkin, CEO, Jurassic Coast Trust takes the 20 Questions’ hot seat.

Question: What is your favourite TV show?

A: Silent Witness. I took ‘A’ Level chemistry and biology and, at some point, considered being a forensic scientist; maybe it’s a hang up from those days!

Q: Who would you like to share a car with?

A: Sir Ranulph Fiennes; what an inspiring, phenomenal lunatic! I would drive all day to hear his stories.

Q: The best bit of my job is…?

A: Sounds cliched, but it would have to be our team. I am so very lucky to be surrounded by the most outstanding colleagues, whose enthusiasm and ambition I could bottle and sell for millions

Q: And the worst?

A: Unjust criticism – but you do get used to it!

Q: Who was your childhood hero?

A: Well, I was quite convinced at 14 that I would marry Kenau Reeves – does that count?!

Q: What’s your favourite smell?

A: Surf wax; it means I am going to be offline for a while.

Q: Where’s your favourite place in Dorset?

A: Shell Bay to Knoll Beach, Studland. I love it when I am there and I love looking at it, longingly, from Sandbanks!

Q: What advice would you give to anyone starting out on a career?

A: Pick a career which will feed your passion in life.

Q: What was your first record/CD?

A: What a hideous admission. I could try and be cool here but in all honesty, I think it was either something by Jason Donovan or Bros!

Q: What gets you angry?

A: Arrogance.

Q: Do you have a favourite piece of music?

A: The Moldau by Bedrich Smetana. I was introduced to this in primary school by a student teacher in a music lesson. You can hear the movement of water in the music.

Q: What are the qualities you look for in a new employee?

A: Passion, ambition – look interested!

Q: What’s your favourite food or dish?

A: I’m not a foodie, but I do like a roast.

Q: Steamed sponge pudding and custard or a plate of melon?

A: Steamed sponge – as long as it’s gluten free (I am Coeliac).

Q: Name the best thing about living/working in Dorset?

A: Diversity of the landscape, from the beaches and forests, to heathland, parks and harbours. We are truly spoiled.

Q: If you were Prime Minister for the day what would be the first thing you do?

A: Where do you start?! Maybe I would review the skill sets, delivery track record and some sort of personality profiling for those who are in positions of influence.

Q: What’s your biggest frustration?

A: Negativity, I prefer solutions!

Q:  Where’s your favourite holiday location?

A: I couldn’t pick just one. I am lucky to have travelled. I’ve visited Whistler and Banff in Canada, Sydney, the Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand, Paris, Rome, Geneva and many Greek villages!

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years’ time?

A: Happy, wandering around Europe in my spare time with my husband!

Q: What would you like to be remembered for?

A: As someone who didn’t give up on what she believed in.
