Lynsey has the perfect antidote to the January and lockdown slump - and it's completely free

It’s called Focus in Five and the aim is to show you how to focus in just five days.

Oh, and it’s also absolutely free with the chance to win a prize worth more than £250 into the bargain.

Focus in Five is the idea of Lynsey Suzanne, a personal trainer from Blandford.

It’s open to anyone with a Facebook account.

Lynsey is offering live classes – all recorded for later access – daily challenges, recipes and a live Q&A.

She’s also enlisted the help of local yoga, pilates and sports rehab instructors to offer additional services across the five days.

Lynsey, 34, said: “Focus in Five is for absolutely anybody to take part in.

“There aren’t any catches.

“I just want to get as many people back into working out as possible and help those who have hit that January and lockdown slump.

“The daily live workouts are suitable to do in your living room.

“All will be recorded to watch back if the live time isn’t suitable.

“I’m even offering a prize worth £250 to the person who gets the most involved during the five days.

“This isn’t about the biggest weight loss.

“It’s about getting people’s energy back.

“Also helping them to mix in an environment where they wouldn’t usually be and connect with people at a time when we are very isolated.”

More details can be found on Lynsey’s website at lynseysuzanne.com.

Lynsey first started offering personal training in 2013.

She said: “I fell into the world of weight training and competing and realised the benefits weight training can offer to someone’s physical and mental health.

“Since then I have worked with hundreds of men and women, either in person or online, to help transform their physique but, more importantly, educate them on areas such as nutrition and overall wellbeing for long lasting lifetime benefits.

“Since lockdown in March my business has almost entirely become online

“I wanted to continue to offer the same level of service to my clients and reach out to those who  might not have come across my services.

“Over the past year I’ve offered 1 to 1 video personal training, but also classes that teach clients the basic principles around resistance training using whatever kit they have available at home.

“I’ve held webinars on nutrition and training and, in November, I launched Fit in Three which is a 12 week online programme offering live classes, nutritional packs, weekly webinars and more.

“Doors are currently closed to this programme but I wanted to offer those who might have been put off by online training or working out from home the opportunity to try something new.

“This is where the idea of Focus in Five came from.”
