An independent ladies fashion boutique in Bournemouth town centre has received a much-needed boost after what its owner describes as a “terrible year.”

Moni Boutique has been named Best Independent Ladies Fashion Boutique 2020 in the Southern Enterprise Awards staged by SME News.

Monika Theodoris, Owner and Founder, said: “After such a terrible year for businesses, especially small independents like myself, receiving this award is greatly appreciated.

“I want to thank everyone who voted for me.

“Running a business during these difficult times is more than challenging, especially for the retail industry.

“But to have won this award makes the hard work so worth it and further confirms my dedication and commitment to bringing totally unique fashion items to Dorset’s high street.”

Founded in July 2018, Moni Boutique is an independent ladies fashion boutique and online shop.

It prides itself on offering unique, stylish and affordable fashion items and accessories not found anywhere else on the high street.

Every item is hand picked by Monika and suitable for any occasion.

New stock typically arrives every two to four weeks but the boutique can also source items for extra special occasions.

Sizes vary between six to 18.

All items in the boutique are also available to order on Moni Boutique’s online shop or via its mobile app.

Stock levels are directly linked/live.

Monika said: “We offer a true boutique experience with expert fashion and style advice and service with a smile.”

Moni Boutique was personally chosen by fashion icon Gok Wan to take part in his One Size Fits All Southampton event in 2018.

The boutique is open seven days a week (Mon to Sat 10am – 6pm and Sun 11am – 4pm) in the Burlington Arcade on Bournemouth’s Old Christchurch Road.
