Barratt David Wilson Homes, a leading housebuilder, recently celebrated the official opening of its new Roman’s Quarter housing development in Gillingham.
The Mayor of Gillingham, Councillor Roger Weeks, and Assistant Town Clerk, Jill Ezzard, were invited for a VIP tour of the site to mark the occasion.
The tour coincided with the start of an open weekend, where prospective buyers could explore the show homes, review the site layout, and see the first range of properties to be released.
James Dunne, Managing Director of Barratt Homes Southampton Division, said: “We were delighted to welcome the Mayor and the Assistant Town Clerk to Roman’s Quarter.
“These beautiful homes are built to our renowned high standards in a development that perfectly combines the best of town and country.”
The Roman’s Quarter development is located in one of Dorset’s safest towns, Gillingham, known for its historic character and peaceful landscape.
The area offers excellent transport links, with both the A303 and Gillingham train station nearby, and is close to local amenities such as schools, supermarkets, and shops.
James added: “We offer several schemes to help people realise their dream of home ownership, including our Own New – Rate Reducer initiative, which can significantly reduce mortgage repayments, and our Part Exchange scheme, which simplifies the selling process.”
