Morebus and COSMO Bournemouth cook up ‘Bus to Buffet’ scheme for customers feeling the pinch

A new partnership between COSMO and Bournemouth bus operator Morebus is set to help customers save money on both fuel and food.

Morebus logo‘Bus to Buffet’ will allow customers across the BCP area to travel direct to the COSMO restaurant in St Peter’s Square on a £2 single bus journey and receive a discount on their meal.

Yuan Bi, General Manager at COSMO Bournemouth, says: “As customers feel the squeeze of the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, our partnership with Morebus will help diners to avoid parking costs and rising fuel prices so they can enjoy an-all-you-can eat dining experience at a reduced rate.

COSMO buffet section“They can get dropped right outside our door and then save 10 per cent per head on food, Monday to Friday, when booking a table online.

“Diners can present their digital bus ticket purchased via the Morebus app on arrival.”

The government recently announced the extension of the £2 single bus journey to encourage more locals to use sustainable transport, easing congestion and improving air quality.

Nikki HonerNikki Honer, Head of Communications at Morebus, added: “This is great for our customers, who are able to save money on a midweek meal out.

“The offer is valid on all app tickets, so ideal for regular commuters too who are looking for a midweek treat.”

The £2 fare deal can be purchased in bundles of 10 through the Morebus app, where customers can also check how much CO2 they’ve saved on their journey compared to driving.
