Morebus is driving forward with a fleet of 28 new buses.

The new double decker buses, which were unveiled at a special launch event in Bournemouth Square, will operate the company’s M1 and M2 services between Bournemouth and Poole.
They have joined Morebus’ fleet following a £7.7 million investment.
Andrew Wickham, Morebus’ Managing Director, said: “Our aim is to help reduce congestion across the region – and we believe making sustainable transport even more attractive is key to that.
“We have made a significant investment in these new buses, and we expect them to be well-received by those who use the M1 and M2 services.

“The seating on-board is more comfortable than ever, and each vehicle sports the latest Euro 6 low emissions engine.
“Just one fully-loaded double decker has the potential to take up to 75 cars off our roads, so we believe we have made the right decision, adding these impressive new buses to our fleet.”
The Alexander Dennis E400 MMC vehicles also feature USB charging ports and contactless ‘tap on tap off’ ticketing facilities.
Andrew Wickham and his team were joined at the launch by Morebus customers, representatives from BCP Council and other important stakeholders.
