Morgan Marouani is a happy man – and with good reason.
His removal company, Removals Unlimited, has just enjoyed its best quarter since launching exactly four years ago.

Sales tripled into six figures thanks to the acquisition of respected removals firm Park & Sons Ltd and also the stamp duty holiday.
The latter, first introduced in July 2020, is now being phased out with stamp duty rates fully returning to their previous level from October 1.
But, said Morgan, the effect of the measure has been dramatic, especially in the last few months.
He said: “It’s been like winning the lottery as people tried to beat the deadline.
“And not just for us but also everyone associated with the property market.
“From builders and estate agents to home furnishers and retailers.
“It’s really boosted the market.”
In the case of Removals Unlimited, which includes storage among its services, the stamp duty holiday has resulted in 35 storage containers being packed to the brim with people’s contents.

Morgan, pictured, said: “We’ve invested heavily in storage with more than 40 containers available.
“Just as well in view of the demand, particularly over the last few months.”
The 39-year-old father of two came late to the removals business.
Before launching Removals Unlimited in 2017 he spent more than a decade working in advertising and marketing in the IT sector.
However, a business partnership which didn’t work out saw him take eight months off to think about his future.
It turned out to be a move – into removals.
Morgan said: “I thought the removal industry was not just very interesting but also could benefit from a different approach.
“Moving is one of the most stressful experiences we go through and yet sometimes the communication is not what it should be.
“Everything we do is dedicated to diffusing the stress of our customers.

“Competition is fierce in our sector.
“While we’re not the cheapest, or the most expensive, I honestly believe that no-one can match the customer service we provide.
“There’s a lot of responsibility involved in removals.
“You have to get it right, first-time.
“We’ve put in place a fail-safe system for our clients.
“I’m proud that in the four years since we started we’ve never missed a deadline or let a customer down.”
Morgan invested £15,000 to launch Removals Unlimited.
It was the original one man and a van.
The company – which has the slogan ‘We pack, move and store’ – now has a fleet of vehicles and a ten-strong team.
Morgan said: “They’re absolutely fantastic.
“I count myself very lucky to have such a talented and hard-working team.”
Services offered by Removals Unlimited include:
While the company operates across the UK, its main operating area is Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
The opportunity to acquire Park & Sons Ltd came up earlier this year.

The business, founded by Andy Park in 2008, had built an excellent reputation and client base.
Morgan said: “We acquired the vehicles, website, client lists and goodwill.
“It’s proved an excellent acquisition and opened up a lot of new opportunities for us.”
Married to Agnieszka and with two daughters, aged eight and five, Morgan said the company’s future plans included growing organically.
It was also developing a separate business – Bournemouth’s Upcycling Emporium – specialising in the upcycling of furniture and other items.
Manuel Salomon, who was involved in Removals Unlimited at its launch, has returned and become a business partner in the new venture.
“We think there’s a lot of potential and it will fit in very well with our removals business,” said Morgan.
