Covid was a tough time for West Country marketing agency We are Chain, as its Directors Rupert Brown and Jim Chetwode well know.
But the firm ultimately pulled through, and as they celebrate their fifth anniversary, the pair are happy to report that business has returned to pre-pandemic levels.
It took some pivoting and exploring new income streams – like partnering with eCommerce giant Shopify in 2020.
One of the agency’s fastest-growing services nowadays is helping eCommerce clients make the switch from other providers to the Shopify platform.
“We’ve prided ourselves on our ability to stay ahead of digital trends”, said Jim, “offering innovative solutions that drive growth and success for our clients.
“The diversity of our work continues to expand and includes clients from all around the globe.
“We work alongside some of the world’s largest hotel chains to organise their email marketing, and have built over 100 websites in the last five years for businesses small and large.”
There’s also a feeling at We are Chain that things have come full circle, as the Newbury Show – the agency’s very first clients back in 2018 – makes its own post-Covid comeback for the first time this year.
“We’re delighted to again be involved in the Newbury Show as the commercial arm, responsible for trade stands and sponsorships”, added Jim.
“Having lost three of our major show clients in March 2020, we’ve now managed to diversify and get back to pre-pandemic sales.
“To add a show back as a client has been nothing short of a miracle.
“Looking ahead, we’re excited about the future.
“We’ll continue to expand our services and adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape.”
