A new housing development in Wimborne is taking shape with a quarter of the homes built and half of the properties now sold.
Bellway is delivering 60 private new homes at Badbury Reach, as well as 24 affordable properties available for local people through rent or shared ownership.
The housebuilder has now sold 30 private homes at the site off Cranborne Road, with the first residents moving into the development in September.
Kim Caldwell, Sales Director for Bellway Wessex, said: “Badbury Reach is an elegant new housing development.
“It’s already proving to be a draw for buyers who want to live in a prime location in Dorset.
“Badbury Reach is particularly appealing for families looking for a new home because it’s located opposite the new Wimborne First School, as well as being within easy reach of schools for older pupils.
“The first residents have already moved into their new homes so there is a lovely community being forged at the development as buyers settle in and make it home.”

Badbury Reach is a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes.
The development is located close to Wimborne town centre.
Kim said: “There is a high demand for new homes in the area, especially in key locations like Wimborne with great facilities and public parks, so we’re expecting the rest of the properties to be reserved quite quickly.
“Construction is progressing well at Badbury Reach with the building work scheduled to be finished by the end of 2021.”
Prices at Badbury Reach start at £302,995 for a two-bedroom home.
