A leading car finance provider is set to create up to 26 new jobs when it moves to a new head office in Poole early next year as part of a £2 million investment.
Creditplus is to relocate operations from its current 7,000 sq ft Fleetsbridge site to nearby Willis Way.
The company has bought the new 12,000 sq ft building which will act as a head office.
Spanning three floors, the building will accommodate 200 workstations and also provide staff with a dedicated training facility and casual dining area.
A major refit is underway with Creditplus planning to complete the move in the first quarter of 2020.
Shaun Armstrong, Co-Founder of Creditplus, said: “Our new office reinforces the business’ commitment to Poole and will provide the expansion room needed to support our growing customer base, looking for a complete car buying experience.
“We’re proud to call Poole our home and will continue to support its thriving digital economy through our accelerated recruitment programme.”
Creditplus currently employs around 100 people in Poole.
The new jobs will be in sales and technology.
The company operates a second site in Fareham, Hampshire, which is home to additional sales and underwriting teams.
Both offices are further supported by a RAC-approved vehicle preparation facility, which will be within a mile of the new Poole head office.
Creditplus was co-founded in 2004 by Mr Armstrong.
In April joint-investor Paul Nash became a director of the business after a 30-year career in finance, most recently as Global Head of Asset Finance at accountancy firm PwC.
The company says it makes car buying simple by comparing the best finance deal, locating the perfect vehicle and then delivering to a customer’s door.
Creditplus is a trading name of Whichdeal Ltd.
Latest accounts filed with Companies House reveal the company made a pre-tax loss of £190,584 on a turnover of £11.7m in the year to December 31, 2018.
