A new sunflower logo and brand has been unveiled for one of Dorset’s best-known charities.

It was designed free of charge for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care by Wimborne-based ROUTEpr and Events.

The brief was to reflect warmth, hope and positivity while giving the hospice a more up to date modern look and feel.

The new logo and brand will be rolled out internally and externally, starting with an advertising billboard on the Old Wareham Road in Poole.

Clare Gallie, Chief Executive Officer, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, said: “We are truly delighted with our new look created to our brief by the team at ROUTEpr.

“They offered several ideas and options and took great care about our vision.”

The final version was decided by the Board of Trustees.

They felt the sunflower logo best represented the ethos and values of the hospice as the charity moved to new premises and further developed its hospice services in 2020.

Clare said: “I want to thank the team at ROUTEpr and Events for all their hard work. They made this happen in such a positive way.

“The team have very much enjoyed working with them and there has been no cost to us as a charity.

“We are also most grateful that another generous donor made it possible for us to deliver an advertising campaign which will be rolled out in the months ahead.

“This will deliver our messages via radio advertising with Heart FM, Hot Radio, print media with LocaliQ, Purbeck Gazette and a billboard on the Old Wareham Road.”
