A new type of charity shop has been launched in Poole by Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.
Patrons Harry and Sandra Redknapp officially cut the ribbon to mark the opening of The House Clearance Shop.
It’s the charity’s seventh retail store.
Inside the bright orange shop at 116a High Street, Poole – next to Santander – a wide selection of bargain items can be found.
Some of the goods are grouped together with a single price to help shoppers.
They include £2 and £10 rails as well as shelves selling items for £1 and Buy One Get One Free offers.
Harry said, “We’re so pleased to have been asked to open this fantastic new shop and are sure that it will be a great success for the charity.
“It’s packed full of bargains, and we would definitely urge shoppers to visit and have a look at what’s on offer.
“Or if you’re in need of house clearance services, then look no further than Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.”
Su Newcombe, Director of Retail, said: “It’s brilliant to have such a prominent location on the high street in Poole.
“It’s a great opportunity to let shoppers know about our new house clearance and recycling service.
“Moving, downsizing and house clearing after the death of a loved one can be a very stressful and overwhelming time.
“Our aim is to reduce that stress as much as possible.
“We’re here to the rescue and can offer flexible complete or partial house clearances and recycling services.
“Call us for a no obligation quote or to ask any questions you may have.
“All quotes include an on-site inspection, free advice and a written guaranteed price, so there will be no unexpected extra charges.”
Lewis-Manning’s other retail shops across East Dorset and Purbeck are at Ashley Cross, Christchurch, Swanage, Westbourne, Winton and Wimborne.
