TV shows, podcasts, guest appearances and now a funky new dance track.

Dorset’s very own Harry Redknapp is hoping his new song track – ‘Giving is Exciting’ – will be a smash hit in the online music charts.

The ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ winner has collaborated with Bournemouth-based record label Smoothe Mixx, founded by Roy Smoothe, known as the ‘Cool Branding Guy’.

Harry has recorded and added his vocals to a new charity fundraiser track in support of Dorset Cancer Care Foundation.

Mixed and produced at Roy’s studio overlooking Bournemouth beach – and with the final mastering completed at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London – the single and additional versions of the track will feature on an EP.

It will be released online via Amazon Music on Saturday May 22.

Harry’s vocal track includes the lines:

Giving is exciting, a gift shines like the sun.

Giving makes it easy for good things to be done.

I will sing it if it comes on in the car!

A spokesperson for Dorset Cancer Care Foundation said: “Our Patron Harry Redknapp has given his precious time to help one of our loyal ambassadors, Roy.

“He has put all his efforts and enthusiasm into the project with Harry to raise much-needed funding, as the charity is struggling during these unprecedented times.”

Roy said: “It couldn’t get any cooler than this, creating another chart-topping hit with Harry, who is such a people’s legend.

“I have a feeling this is going to rock the charts and raise much-needed funding for the charity.”

With more than 40 million streams across online music platforms in just a few years, Roy’s Smoothe Mixx label has become recognised as the world’s number one personal development music and motivation brand.

Keeping the theme of mixing with the legends of music, Hard Rock Hotel, London will be the venue for the official release launch party.

The track will be available to download from Amazon Music and iTunes

All profits will go to Dorset Cancer Care Foundation.
