During a talk at the terrace bar they learned about the 120-year history of the world-famous jeweller, from its Austrian roots in a small crystal-cutting factory to the present day.
Tracey Aldin, General Manager at Parley Place Care Home, said: “This has been a wonderful afternoon.
“Learning the history of Swarovski and seeing these beautiful glass sculptures was really eye opening, the residents all enjoyed seeing the pieces, and my favourite was definitely the star!”
Residents also heard about some of the iconic pieces worn over the years by the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. Swarovski even famously supplied jewellery for Queen Victoria.
