“Be a mum – be you again.”

The simple message from personal trainer Hayley Millin.

The 36-year-old – and proud mum of nine-month-old Jacob – has made it her mission to help new and would-be mums.

As she says: “My main goal is to help as many women who are going through pregnancy, birth or have just had their child and are in recovery.

“The most important thing for me is to help these women achieve their goals, to feel their body again, gain their confidence whilst having a baby and living a busy mum life.

“To get it done within their baby’s routine and within their daily lifestyle.

“You need to be yourself and you need to remember who you are.

“Your baby will love you more for keeping that confidence, learning how to live a happier, healthy life and to guide your baby into the same lifestyle.”

Born and brought up in Bournemouth, Hayley was bitten by the fitness bug in her teens.

She said: “I dragged my mum down to the gym so she could sign me up on a membership.

“That was it and I was at the gym, training every day.

“When I left school I knew that was what I wanted to do.”

Hayley qualified as a fitness instructor at the age of 18 with Premier Training International with the goal of training people abroad.

After working in several countries, including Australia and Canada, she returned to a London gym but about eight years ago decided to go freelance and has never looked back since.

Offering both one to one and group sessions, Hayley, who is married to Graham, qualified with Girls Go Strong in September 2021 and is now a qualified coach in pre and postnatal training.

She took a break to have Jacob, pictured.

He was born 18 days late last July with Hayley spending 28 hours in labour, resulting in an emergency caesarean section.

She said: “I’ve had my own experience of pregnancy, emergency c-section birth and a strong recovery with Jacob.

“I’ve lived it, I’ve breathed it and I’ve been through it.

“Lack of time and sleep deprivation is real.

“I’ve been there and it’s hard.”

Hayley is now building up her personal fitness business again, specialising in fat loss, strength, nutrition and mindset.

She said: “Having worked with clients all around the world I have the experience and knowledge to help busy mums and women to achieve the results they’ve always dreamed of and still deserve.

“I offer a combination of one to one and also group classes.

“These are brilliant for mums and babies who want to socialise, either online classes on Zoom or getting together face to face at the beach.

“My message to all women is you can’t wave a magic wand.

“You can’t just bounce back physically or mentally or with your work straight away.

“I’m only 50 per cent back with my work but I’m looking to build on that.

“It’s an exciting time for me returning after having my baby.

“My brand slogan is ‘Love Your Lifestyle’ and to help women in our community is a big goal of mine.“
