“Winning this award just felt incredible.”
The words of Luke Crutcher, a Director of Living Home Tech (LHT) – along with his brothers Wes and Wayne and long-time friend and associate Paul Clarke – after the Poole-based company landed a prestigious award.

It won the ‘Best Home Cinema Under £50k’ category at the Smart Building Awards 2021 for a bespoke home cinema room in Hampshire.
The internationally recognised trade-only awards for those in the audio visual and smart home sector were founded by All Things Media Ltd and held in association with Essential Install Magazine.
Each award was judged by an expert panel based on the category criteria and individually scored.
Luke said: “Winning this award just felt incredible.
“Words are hard to find to say how proud we feel, after the difficult time we’ve been working through.
“Months of not being able to visit people’s homes and wondering what would happen throughout the pandemic.
“It all feels worth it with this win.
“It is a massive boost of morale for our hard-working team.
“We have been installing the highest grade of home cinemas and media rooms around the south for over 16 years.
“Although every bespoke project is special, sometimes, something really shouts with its wow factor.
“This particular project was one of those.
“We can now ride this wave of recognition and continue to take our brand and expertise to a wider audience.”

LHT designs and installs personally tailored home theatres, media rooms and smart home systems around the world but predominantly across the south of England.
Rooms transformed include garages, attics, playrooms, snugs and basements.
The business, which employs 12 people and has its headquarters at Mannings Heath Road in Poole, has been featured on TV’s Grand Designs.
Wes said: “We’ve gained even more respect throughout the industry with this award win – it means the world to us.
“This showcases our adaptability and credibility to other design professionals.
“It gives us so many more opportunities for expansion.
“We are so grateful to all involved and excited for where this can take us.
“The project we chose is a unique home theatre installation in Hampshire.
“This project was installed in Chandler’s Ford and it brings such a sense of satisfaction to see it recognised and winning.
“Further to that it has instantly boosted our profile and gives us the chance to design even more imaginative residential projects in the future.”
