The branch team at Devondale Electrical in Weymouth are encouraging local residents and tradespeople to join them next week to celebrate a year since the company acquired A J Electrical Distributors and rebranded the site.

From 7am on Friday 14 July, visitors can come along to Granby Industrial Estate and enjoy food from the award-winning Dorset Burger Company.

Devondale will also be running a darts competition, tombola, and prize draw – with prizes including a home beer draft system valued at over £200 – as well as handing out plenty of special offers for the occasion.

Branch Manager James Smart said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating our first anniversary of being part of the Weymouth community as Devondale Electrical.

“We pride ourselves on unrivalled service, quality product range, and the longevity of the relationships we develop with our customers, and I believe these have strongly contributed to the success of our first year – we’ve seen increases in sales and customers opening trade accounts with us.”

Devondale has been keen to settle into the Weymouth community over the last year, which has seen them getting behind local charities Casting for a Cure and Starlight Dance Studio.

Since the acquisition, they’ve stocked the shelves with new products from lighting manufacturer Ansell, hand tool specialist C.K Tools, and power tool accessories manufacturer Armeg.

Plans are also in the works to begin offering a range of solar and renewable energy products.
