Baggette + Co Wealth Management is advancing its growth strategy with the appointment of Lee Taylor as its new Head of Marketing.

Lee brings a wealth of experience to the Poole-based firm, with a 20-year career in professional services marketing.

He has worked with top national and regional law firms like Irwin Mitchell and Mills & Reeve. His transition from the legal sector to financial services aims to enhance Baggette + Co’s market position.

Lee said: “I am thrilled to be joining Baggette + Co Wealth Management, a company that is already well-established and highly regarded across the region.

“There is tremendous potential for growth, and I am excited to be working with the exceptional team here to further enhance our offering to our clients in Dorset and beyond.”

Oscar Hjalmas, CEO of Baggette + Co Wealth Management, added: “We are delighted to welcome Lee to the Baggette + Co Family.

“Lee impressed me the first time I met him; he is clearly someone who will be able to bring our firm to the next level.

“We are fiercely proud of being independent, and Lee’s expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand our reach and solidify our position as a leader in financial planning and wealth management.

“I am very excited to work with Lee, and feel privileged to have him on our management team.”

Founded in Poole in 1986, Baggette + Co has grown steadily, attracting top financial talent to serve clients across Dorset, Hampshire, and the South Coast.

In 2023, the firm experienced a management buyout led by independent financial adviser Oscar Hjalmas and business adviser Jo Hjalmas from founder Keith Baggette.

Since then, the firm has expanded to over 25 financial professionals, crediting its success to an independent approach to financial planning and a commitment to transparency and client service.

Managing Director Jo Hjalmas commented: “When Oscar and I took over the helm of Baggette + Co almost 18 months ago, we set ourselves some ambitious plans to become the leading financial advisory firm in Dorset.

“Lee’s strategic vision aligns perfectly with our goals. His experience driving business growth, enhancing brand visibility, and attracting top talent will be instrumental in achieving our objectives.”
