Having doubled their turnover since the pandemic, Mar-Key Group are looking to carry that momentum forward as they move into new offices in Christchurch.

Mar-Key Group logoThe marquee manufacturers have invested more than £750,000 in machinery and workspace, allowing them to leave behind their 2,400 sq ft Throop facility for one with five times the footprint.

It comes amid a shortage in available warehouse space across the UK, leading many businesses to seek out temporary solutions.

CCO Jade Carpenter said: “This is such an exciting time for Mar-Key Group.

“The growth we’re experiencing is incredible, so it was essential that we relocated to enable us to meet demand and continue on this path of expansion.

“We’ll soon be advertising a number of new roles at our manufacturing facility in Christchurch, so we’d encourage you to keep an eye on our social channels if you’d be interested in joining a dynamic and quickly growing Dorset business.”

Starting out as just a small marquee business in 1991, Mar-Key Group has since earned its place as the fourth fastest growing SME across the Solent.

Their team designs, manufactures and builds temporary structures for a broad range of clients, from Royal Ascot and Southampton International Boat Show to Tesco and the National Grid.

Jade added: “As we grow, we still have the familiar faces we’ve worked with over the past 10, 15 or 30-plus years, nurturing the expanding team and welcoming them into the family ethos.

“We’re not losing the family feel – Christmas is just getting more expensive!”
