Residents across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are invited to kickstart a more active lifestyle this autumn.
A free to attend open weekend is being hosted at BH Live Active, Queen’s Park, Bournemouth.
On Saturday October 19 and Sunday October 20 from 8am-5pm, people living in the BCP area can enjoy free gym sessions.
BH Live Active’s instructors will lead a gym floor workout to showcase the centre’s facilities which include cardiovascular, resistance and functional fitness equipment and zones.
Free to attend Les Mills™ taster classes including Body Pump, Body Balance and a brand-new Functional Strength class will also be available.
For those seeking some mindfulness, a mini yoga retreat will be hosted at the centre on the Saturday from 1pm-4pm.
Participants will be guided through a range of yoga routines, providing an afternoon of mindfulness and movement for all.
The yoga retreat costs £15 for BH Live Active members and £20 for non-members.
To participate in the free gym and class taster sessions, people will be asked to complete a free one-day guest pass.
They can do this in centre or online.
The mini yoga retreat can be booked and paid for via the BH Live Active app and website.
As well as free activities, there will also be exclusive offers and giveaways over the weekend.
BH Live Active, Queen’s Park is managed and operated by BH Live, a registered charity and social enterprise.
One of its charitable aims is to encourage more people to take part in physical activity for better health and wellbeing.
