Entries are now open for the Ringwood Business Awards 2023, with local businesses, young entrepreneurs, and commercial talent all invited to apply.
They represent a grassroots effort following on from the success of similar events in nearby Bournemouth, Wimborne, Christchurch and Poole.
And showrunners Marketing West are getting straight down to business: “The awards are not an excuse for a party. The focus is on the entries and not the event.
“It’s a chance for local businesses to get together, while the awards presentation will also be streamed online to reach the maximum number of people.”
The ceremony is set to be held at lunchtime on Thursday 8 June, at The Elm Tree in Ringwood.
Awards categories are as follows:
This is alongside two newly announced and highly requested categories for Business of the Year – one aimed at companies with up to 10 employees, and the other for those with more than 11.
Nigel Reeve of MW Events said: “Entries and nominations are already 10 per cent higher than expected at this stage, but we also want to encourage businesses to enter as many categories as possible.
“We believe that local businesses are the backbone of the local economy. They innovate, they create employment, and they focus on the local market and customers.
“We’ve also had a great response from category sponsors which include NFU Mutual, DawsonGROUP Finance, Hub Accountants, The Workshop, Ellis Jones Solicitors and Action Coach.
“We are now placing the final sponsorship and will be announcing more sponsors in the next two weeks.”
