Sasfi Hope-Ross has done it again!

For the fifth year in a row, the innovative photographer has been awarded ‘Best Of Houzz’ award for photography on Houzz, the leading platform for home renovation and design.

Sasfi, pictured left, who specialises in interior and architectural photography, was chosen by the millions of homeowners that make up the Houzz community.

She was among more than 2.5m active home building, renovation and design industry professionals.

A ‘Best Of Houzz 2021’ badge will now appear on Sasfi’s winner’s profile as a sign of her commitment to excellence.

The badges help homeowners identify popular and top-rated home professionals in every region on Houzz.

Sasfi, who lives in Wareham with her partner, daughter, two dogs, five guinea pigs and four ducks, said: “To receive this award five years in a row is just fantastic.

“It is great to see my work being appreciated.”

During the last 19 years Sasfi’s work has taken her all over the world photographing properties overseas, in places such as Mexico, Panama, Spain and Turkey.

She has worked for many high-end interiors magazines, showcasing beautiful homes.

Sasfi now concentrates on projects nearer to home, working closely with architects, interior designers and developers.

She said: “Photographing houses and wonderful buildings is my passion.

“I love the whole creative process, working out the best time of the day to shoot, to get the optimum light for exteriors and using lighting to showcase interiors at their best.

“There is a lot more to photographing properties than people imagine.

“Composition and clever usage of lighting is key, time of the day is very important.

“It is the same process for commercial properties, hotels and restaurants.”

Despite being in business for nearly two decades, Sasfi said the amazing thing about photography is that it is constantly evolving.

She added: “There are always new techniques to learn and exciting new ideas to absorb.

“One of the things I’ve embraced is virtual 360 degree tours.

“They are amazing at showcasing a property online.”

The Best Of Houzz badge is awarded annually in three categories: design, customer service and photography.

Architecture and interior design photographers whose images are most popular are recognised with the photography award.
