A fundraising campaign has been launched to ensure this year’s tenth anniversary Shake and Stir Vintage Music Festival in Bournemouth is the biggest and best yet.

The Southbourne-based event has become a highly popular feature, bringing together music lovers, vintage enthusiasts, and families for a weekend of nostalgia, fun, and community spirit.

It’s now calling on the support of the community to help make this year’s milestone celebration – over the weekend of June 22 and 23 – one to remember.

Organisers are asking for donations to help cover the costs of staging the event.

They say that from securing top-notch performers to ensuring the festival grounds are safe and welcoming for all attendees, every donation – no matter how big or small – will make a difference.

As a token of their gratitude, incentives are being offered to those who donate:

  • £25 donation: An exclusive Shake and Stir festival mug.
  • £15 donation: A stylish festival key ring described as a must-have accessory for any vintage enthusiast looking to add a touch of retro flair to their keys.

A festival spokesperson said: “Not only will your donation help ensure the success of this year’s festival, but it will also support local initiatives and organisations in our community, helping to make a positive impact where it’s needed most.

“So, whether you’re a long-time festival-goer or a newcomer looking to experience the magic of Shake and Stir for the first time, we invite you to join us in making history and ensuring the 10th year anniversary Shake and Stir Vintage Music Festival is an event to remember.”
