Recruitment specialist Holt Engineering Recruitment has expanded with the addition of six new people to join busy local divisions.

The Bournemouth-based business recently brought on extra hands to help cope with increased recruitment demand after a successful first half of 2021.

The six new appointments include Account Manager Zsofia Karnokova who is managing the Sunseeker account, awarded to the expanding agency earlier this year.

Zsofia said: “After recruiting in the healthcare industry for several years I was keen to learn something new, so when the opportunity to join Holt Engineering came along I was beyond happy to accept the role.

“The people here are so welcoming and supportive, I feel very lucky to be part of such a great team.

“I’m very social and outgoing, so recruitment is definitely the career for me.

“I love chatting to people and getting to know them, even more, I love to help them.

“It feels amazing to assist someone in finding their dream job or a stepping stone to their future career.”

Joining the engineering division are Recruitment Resourcers Hayden Lines and James Ferrier.

Hayden comes from an extensive sales background.

James recently returned to the UK after spending several years abroad working in the events industry.

He said: “Here at Holt Engineering I’m heavily involved in recruiting for the Precision Engineering sector.

“The training I’ve been given since joining the team here has been second to none and I’m looking forward to growing with the team.”

Meanwhile, Sophie Cox and her Manufacturing Division have had three new people join her increasingly busy team.

They are Recruitment Resourcers Samantha Green and Beverley Sherritt and Associate Recruitment Consultant, Roxanne Dunlop.

Samantha comes from a long career in customer service and performing arts, specialising in retention and customer experience.

She decided a career change was on the cards and joined the team at Holt Engineering to step into the world of recruitment.

Beverley is a graduate of Bournemouth University and has been in recruitment for several years.

Originally specialising in automotive recruitment, she decided to move from Holt Automotive Recruitment – one of the other businesses within the larger Holt Recruitment Group – to join the team at Holt Engineering.

Most recently, Roxanne, who comes from a career in the property sector including sales, lettings and property management.

She said: “Holt offers a fantastic opportunity for me to grow and learn within the industry.

“Having transferable skills from the property sector has allowed me to hit the ground running within engineering recruitment and I am very much looking forward to my future here.”

The business now boasts a total of 12 Bournemouth-based staff, with plans to add another four people by July 2022.
