A growth strategy of a different kind is being practised at the Bournemouth office of chartered accountants Saffery Champness.

Staff across different departments have decided to join the national charity initiative Movember.

They’re now growing moustaches to raise money for men’s health.

Henry Shirley, Private Client Tax Advisor, said: “It’s great that so many of the team have joined in this fun challenge.

“Our aim is to ‘grow mos to support our bros’.

“It’a a fantastic cause and a team fundraising effort.

“We will be aiming as high as possible.”

Movember is regarded as the leading charity changing the face of men’s health.

It exists to help men live happier, healthier and long lives.

Since its inception in 2002, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world.

The charity says it has also challenged the status quo, shaken up men’s health research and transformed the way health services reach and support men.

It specifically supports mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

The Movember movement has spread worldwide.

Each November supporters grow moustaches to fundraise or support by getting involved in a variety of challenges such as Move for Movember, Host a Mo-ment or Mo your own way.
