It’s got to be one of the best ways of seeing our amazing coastline – from an open top bus.
Launched on Good Friday, Yellow Buses is now operating two routes – the 11 and 12 – using open toppers.

Buster’s Beach Bus 12 travels from Alum Chine to Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers via Westbourne, West Cliff and East Cliff.
New for 2021 is Buster’s Beach Bus 11, connecting with the 12 at Bournemouth Pier and taking in Hengistbury Head, Christchurch (for the Priory and Quay) before finishing at Mudeford.
It’s the first time for many years that some of the destinations have been linked.

Simon Newport, Commercial Director, pictured right, said: “We have invested over £100,000 in newer vehicles for Buster’s Beach Bus and we are really excited about our plans for Summer 2021.
“We wanted to start the services at the earliest opportunity to give local residents the opportunity to get out and about as soon as the weather starts getting warmer.
“We have a great range of tickets to simply travel on Busters Beach Bus for one or a couple of days.”

English Concessionary passes can also be used on the services all day Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays and after 0930 Monday to Friday.
Yellow Buses began operating open top buses again in the conurbation in 2019, carrying 96,000 passengers between April and September.
Around two thirds of the customers were concessions from BCP or Dorset.
Between Easter and Whitsun, route 11 will operate every two hours on Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holidays and school holidays.
The first bus from Bournemouth Pier to Mudeford is at 1040 and the last at 1840.
Route 12 operates every hour, every day between Easter and Whitsun.
The first full service from Alum Chine to Hengistbury Head is at 0930 and 1830 (0830 and 1930 Alum Chine to Bournemouth Pier).
