Dorset success story Mr Lee’s Pure Foods has introduced an option for businesses to provide quick, hot food options for their employees without leaving the building.

The Bournemouth-based brand of award-winning, gourmet instant noodles, which boasts “absolutely no nasties and the finest ingredients”, was created by Damien Lee, serial entrepreneur and three times cancer survivor after winning the fight with his first cancer.

He decided to create an instant noodle packed with goodness and based on authentic Asian flavours and full of nutritious real ingredients.

Mr Lee’s Pure Foods was launched in 2015.

The noodles contain no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or monosodium glutamat (MSG) and are gluten-free.

They are also one of the lowest in sodium/salt, sugar (Sugarwise certified), saturated fat and calories in the market.

During the uncertain times caused by Covid-19 pandemic, Mr Lee’s has donated more than 10,000 cups to NHS and foodbanks across the UK and Australia.

It is now addressing the need of businesses across the country where the way of working may have changed forever.

The aim is to offer their employees access to tasty, hot, convenient and healthy food.

The ‘Back to Work’ Restart Scheme addresses the restricted availability of food options for employees coming back to work due to shops/canteens being closed or having limited capacity and social distancing affecting the service offered.

Mr Lee’s is able to fulfill all order sizes, from 180 cups to pallets of noodles, all at trade prices.

FSDUs (cardboard display stands) can also be supplied for those who do not have facilities to keep the noodles or want to make a colourful feature in their offices.

Damien said: “Suitable for most of the dietary needs including vegan, gluten free and nut free, Mr Lee’s noodles are a great addition to every canteen and office kitchen.

“I really hope workplaces across Dorset take up our scheme.”

The latest initiative comes just weeks after Mr Lee’s Pure Foods debuted in the United States with its noodles now on the shelves of 487 Whole Foods Market stores in 42 states.

The launch marked a major expansion for the brand and came just days after it hit its £1.75m funding target on investment platform Seedrs.
