Bournemouth’s Pitman Training have introduced a raft of new tech training programmes to help Dorset locals into higher paying jobs.

Each of the new online courses has been developed alongside partners CompTIA, with CPD accreditation.

Calum Hales, Centre Manager at Pitman Training Bournemouth & Poole, said: “As tech jobs in the Dorset area are becoming abundant, we’ve seen a large rise in people looking to move into this industry.

“A number of people have come to us not happy in their current role, completed their programming or software diplomas, and are now earning a significantly higher wage.

“We now have innovative online training courses to help people go from novice to experienced developer in a matter of months.”

Graduates from the newly introduced tech training module can expect to take up roles as IT security engineers and support technicians, web and software developers, data analysts, and network support technicians.

There are also courses teaching the fundamentals of programming, as well as AI and machine learning.
