King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp is urging people to take part in Lewis-Manning Hospice Care’s Christmas tree collection and recycling service.

Now in its fourth year, the successful and popular initiative is back by popular demand.

Poole estate agents Leader Fox are supporting the 2021/22 service.

As in previous years, you can register online for your real Christmas tree to be collected after the festivities in return for a donation to the hospice.

All Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch postcodes are covered, from BH1 to BH23.

Collections will take place between Saturday January 8 and Friday January 14, 2022.

Harry, a Patron of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, said: “Sandra and I know what we’re doing with our Christmas tree this year thanks to Lewis-Manning.

“I hope lots of other people in the local community also make a donation for their tree to be collected too.

“They’re such a worthy cause that help so many people in Dorset.

“It’s fantastic to know that after Boxing Day we don’t have to worry about what to do with the tree.”

Ruth Wright, Area Fundraiser, pictured with Leader Fox Director Katie Fox, said: “Remember to book early as there are only a set number of places available.

“Please register your tree today to ensure you’re not left with a car boot full of needles and twigs.

“Bookings close on January 8, 2022.

“We are delighted to be able to help the local community again, as well as doing our bit for the environment by running the Christmas tree collection service.

“Registration online is simple, make a donation to Lewis-Manning Hospice Care on our website and then leave your tree outside the front of your home on the day of collection.

“We will take care of the rest.

“We are also very kindly supported by Eco Sustainable Solutions who will be recycling all the trees that we collect.

“Many other local businesses have offered their help and support again this year.”

Katie Fox said: “When we were approached by Lewis-Manning to support this fantastic campaign it was an immediate YES.

“Not only was it about raising money to aid this wonderful charity but we loved that it was community-based which is where, as a business, our hearts lie.

“The Leader Fox team cannot wait to be part of it and working alongside the amazing guys at Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.”
